Basement finished

We finished the basement apartment and our new renters are moving in this week! Woohoo! Brad and his brother did the floor in the kitchen and I painted the cabinets and all the walls.

Living Room

Besides getting the new carpet, the living room is finally finished!!! And here is a picture of the bathroom, we still need to paint the walls but it is pretty much finished.

House Update

We had some lovely wood paneling on the walls and though we would just rip it down and have sheetrock behind it but we found a disaster! There was a scattered half inch thick glue, and then scary wallpaper over part of it, and a giant hole it the wall!! So we filled it in, stripped down the wall, and textured it. Here are some of the process pictures.

New Addition

We got a puppy!! His name is Mr. Bojangles the third...yes Brad came up with the name. I just call him Bo.

New House

We just signed our title to our new house today!!! We move in this Monday. I'll post some pictures as soon as I can. Its just down the street from our old house in Washington Terrace. We're super excited!
